IB - Facilities

Library : The school library is well equipped with the latest books, study guides and journals to support the IB diploma course. In addition to the regular textbooks, several reference books are available for each subject to enable enhanced learning experience of the students.

 

Resource materials : The IB office has a stock of old questions papers and answer keys of the previous exam sessions in the form of CDs. In addition, the latest editions of the questions banks of most of the subjects are available in CDs for students' reference. To support the students in their requirement to fulfill the various curricular requirements, the IB office also maintains the back volumes of internal assessment work, extended essays, TOK essay and World Literature Assignments for referencing.

 

Plagiarism control : To ensure highest integrity in the learning and assessment process, the school subscribes to an online software to check plagiarism. The school has achieved 100% success in plagiarism control and in upholding ethical honesty among the students.

 

Science Investigations: The school has recently acquired latest data logging devices and the associated interfaces and software. The students use these devises in their regular practical investigations and extended essays in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Systems and Physics.

 

Optoelectronics Laboratory : The Physics laboratory has recently expanded to include a special Optoelectronics laboratory. This laboratory has the necessary infrastructure to conduct experiments in the areas of laser, optoelectronics, optical fibers, communication and other related applications. The lab includes special equipments such as light power meters, optical fibers, laser sources, light detectors, optical mounts, optical breadboards, etc. Physics laboratory has now expanded its horizon to welcome the students to explore the realms of the physical world.
