CIRS celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotism, discipline and enthusiasm. The Principal hoisted the National Flag; the National Anthem followed, and then a march past by the students.

Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director, Academics and Administration, spoke on selfless service and the importance of staying rooted in Indian cultural values while nurturing patriotism. Sri Sripal of the Department of Hindi addressed the students on responsibility and unity as the foundations of nation-building.

The celebrations ended with a special evening aarti and a cultural presentation at the Vraja Auditorium.

What it set out to do

The day aimed for students to understand the significance of Republic Day and the values of the Constitution, and to show responsibility and pride as citizens through their own participation. The report records a deeper sense of national pride and civic awareness, and confidence, teamwork and leadership built through taking part.
