Language Week ran from 13 to 18 October 2025, opening with an address by the Head of the Department.

Students took part in a Language Run representing Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil and French. A Senior Quiz tested knowledge and critical thinking, and a Multilingual Musical Programme brought the languages together in song. The week closed with a Handwriting Competition for Classes 1 to 8, which rewarded neatness, clarity and creativity.

What it set out to do

The week was designed to help students understand the richness and cultural significance of different languages, strengthen their communication skills, and find joy and unity in a shared linguistic life. The school records that it enhanced students' language and communication skills, fostered pride in and respect for linguistic diversity, and promoted teamwork through group activities.
