Between January and February 2026 a run of inter-house competitions gave students across the school a stage, and a reason to practise for it.

Solo Instrumental, 18 February

The Inter-House Solo Instrumental Competition for sub-junior and junior students was held in the MPH in four categories: Wind, String, Keyboard and Rhythm. Each house's captains chose one participant per category. The school's aims were that students learn more of their instruments and their techniques, build confidence and overcome stage fear, and connect emotionally with the music they play. The report notes that participants did overcome stage fear, and that the discipline of playing developed coordination and concentration.

Kal Aaj Aur Kal, 20 February

At Gokul (MPH), students sang Bollywood film songs to karaoke, tracing a journey from old classics to recent hits. The evening celebrated the evolution of Indian film music; for the singers, the report records improved voice modulation, stage presentation and composure before an audience.

Junior Group Dance, 27 February

Forty-eight students represented their houses at the Inter-House Group Dance Competition for the Junior School in the MPH. The report notes the teams' synchronisation, expressive movement and teamwork, and records that the regular practice needed to prepare built discipline, time management and responsibility, as well as coordination, balance and rhythm.

English Literary Competitions, January

In January, the Junior School's English literary competitions in creative writing, poetry recitation and short story-telling gave younger students their own platform for language and performance.
