JOY OF ANANDUTSAV OCTOBER 2007
CIRS VIDYA VAIBHAV

It is time for students, their parents and staff members of the school to get together in a festive ambience for three days! Welcome to our campus!

Although we know some of the reasons for our get together every year it is good to remind ourselves it is a nice forum in a festive ambience for a multi-dimensional parent-student-school interaction, during which we understand each other better and establish a better rapport to be able to take up coordinated approaches to guide our children better! What better ambience can be provided for doing all this than that of a festive occasion with all of us doing so many things together? The overall theme for the Utsav this year is to celebrate India.

As all of us know India, our country, represents a concept well beyond and older than that of the nation state. The importance and significance of India has been waxing and waning in the areas of science, technology and business. But the one area in which our country shines eternally, whether in an explicit or implicit manner, is in the deep resilience and silent wisdom that is reflected in the strengths of our society and its culture. It is due to its plurality, diversity and ability to learn and absorb from other cultures that it has achieved what are recognized presently as strengths of the country. Diverse languages, food habits, traditions, open-mindedness to learn from others and assimilate the same into our thoughts and attitudes and actions are some of the hallmarks of our country.
To bring about an awareness of the beauty and strengths of our country is the theme and purpose of the Anand Utsav - Vidya Vaibhav planned from 2nd to the 4th October 07. With this theme in mind your children have put together for you the following exhibitions in the academic blocks.
